'W5' stands for Who? What? When? Where? Why?, and is a cutting edge, award winning science exhibition centre demonstrating the powers of science. It focuses on interactivity, allowing visitors to explore the power and wonders of science themselves.

The centre features a number of features for visitors of all ages, including lie detectors, building bridges, a giant racetrack, robot building and cartoon design activities. W5 features a range of rotating exhibitions also, including the current 'Nature Quest' exhibition.

Location

From Belfast City Centre, follow signs for the A2 Bangor onto Queen Elizabeth Bridge. Keep in the left lane and immediately after crossing the River Lagan turn left onto Queen´s Island. Follow the road for ¼ mile, the car park is on your right. W5 is a fifteen minute walk from Belfast Central Station and one mile from Great Victoria Street Station.
