Belfast is most easily accessible for international tourists by air. Belfast is home to two international airports: Belfast International Airport and George Best International Airport. Both airports provide a number of scheduled services across the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and continental Europe, while Continental Airlines link Belfast to New York with a daily scheduled service. It is also possible to reach Belfast by sea, with Stena Line, Norfolkline, and Isle of Man Steam Packet linking Belfast Harbour with Stranraer, Liverpool and Douglas (Isle of Man). Travelling from southern Ireland, visitors can reach Belfast by rail (from Dublin), bus and road. Once you arrive in Belfast, you can easily navigate the city via bus and taxi.

  • Belfast International Airport: Located just over 23km northwest of Belfast, Belfast International Airport is Northern Ireland's largest airport. It welcomes 4.5 million passengers through its doors annually, making it the second largest airport on the island of Ireland after Dublin International Airport. The Airport's largest operators include Easyjet and Aer Lingus. Easyjet operate a vast array of scheduled services across the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. Destinations include Paris, Amsterdam, Alicante, Liverpool and London. Aer Lingus operate scheduled services to destinations including London, Barcelona and Rome.   • George Best Belfast City Airport:  Belfast City Airport is located conveniently in Belfast City, adjacent to the city's harbour and Odyssey Arena. Featuring a range of scheduled services primarily across the United Kingdom, the airport's main operators include Ryanair, Flybe and BMI. Sea

Bus
